Nocster AMD Athlon XP 2400 10MBPS unlimited Bandwidth
AMD Athlon 2.00 GHz 512 MB RAM Managed Dedicated Server
Nocster MANAGED Dedicated Servers are a perfect solution for popular sites, a large company, an online mall, or reseller/presence providers. Hosting services on a shared server are sometimes not enough to allow you the kind of control, configuration, power, and accessibility that you require. When such is the case, you need to consider a dedicated server solution. You can fully control account setups, software installations, user modifications, and data backups. For a lower price than some web hosting companies' larger packages, with Nocster you can operate your own dedicated server!
Nocster will handle building the server to your specifications, install the operating system, and configure system software. Nocster will maintain all hardware, and monitor your server 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year. The Nocster™ network is connected via Verizon™ & Cambrian™ OC-Level fiber, as well as PPL Telcom™ & CTSI™ Gigabit fiber. The transit is provided via 100MBPS Metro Fast Ethernet drops from Verio™, Level3™, XO™, Cogent™, & MFN/AboveNET™ (3rd QTR), as well as Global Crossing™ 100MBPS Gigabit fiber. All servers are wired into an uninterruptible power supply, as well as connected to a deisel backup generator. BurstNET™ Dedicated Servers are built with Intel™/AMD™ Processors, 3Com™/Intel™ NICs, PC100/133 SDRAM/PC2100 DDR, and ONLY major name brand components.
NOCSTER - High-Bandwidth, Low-Cost, Managed Services from BurstNET.
BurstNET Technologies, Inc.™ is a world-wide leader in Web Hosting and Internet Solutions. The privately held and debt-free company, based in North-Eastern Pennsylvania, services clientele in over 100 countries around the world. BurstNET™ began in 1991 as a computer hardware/software retail firm and distributorship. Shortly after incorporating in late 1996, the company quickly made the transition to providing internet services. BurstNET™ established itself in the industry prior to the explosion of the web hosting market. The company has experienced exceptional growth and currently hosts more than 50,000 domains worldwide, on the 1000+ managed dedicated servers and co-located machines currently in the facility.
The network is connected via OC-Level fiber connections to Verizon™ (Formerly Bell Atlantic PA) & Cambrian™, as well as gigabit fiber from PPL Telcom™, (a sub-division of Pennsylvania Power & Electric™ - PPL™) and Commonwealth Telephone™ (CTSI™), NorthEast PA's 2nd largest Telco. The network currently connects BurstNET POPs (Points of Presence) in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Philadelphia, & New York City, with others to be completed shortly. BurstNET™ utilizes 100MBPS Gigabit Fiber from Global Crossing (http://www.glbx.com), and 100MBPS Metro Fast Ethernet drops from Level3™ (http://www.level3.com), Verio™ (http://www.verio.com), XO™ Communications (http://www.xo.com), MFN™/AboveNET™ (http://www.mfn.com) (3rd QTR), & Cogent™ (http://www.cogentco.com). For redundancy, BurstNET™ is currently running BGP4 (border gateway routing protocol) to maintain the speed and uptime. If one backbone line goes down, it will balance the load to the other(s). If one line gets congested, it will load balance the traffic. BurstNET™ is currently negotiating with major backbone providers to open POPs in the BurstNET™ Scranton PA facility. BurstNET™ is currently the only major data center/co-lo facility within 60-75 miles of the Tier-3 Scranton/Wilkes-Barre PA USA Metro Area.
