Industrial Light & Magic, a division of George Lucas Ltd., uses RackSaver clusters to render visual effects for movies like Star Wars: Episode II “Attack of the Clones” and Minority Report. Pixar animation studios recently purchased RackSaver clusters for use on their upcoming movie titled “Finding Nemo”. Many life science companies and research institutions use RackSaver clusters for drug research and discovery, genomic and proteomic research, and molecular and computational biology research.
