Joseph Williamson, PhD, Joins the Executive Team of Criterion Systems

VIENNA, Va., Jan. 29 -- Criterion Systems, a leading provider of information technology services to Government and commercial clients, today announced that Joseph Williamson, PhD, has assumed the position of Director of Architecture Solutions. Dr. Williamson will contribute to all aspects of strategic decision making for Criterion, focusing on innovative enterprise architecture solutions.

Prior to joining Criterion, Dr. Williamson was an EDS Fellow, a title awarded to the corporation's most innovative thought leaders in recognition of their exceptional achievements. During his 13-year tenure with EDS, Williamson served as the CTO for a major national client and led teams in establishing and chartering the Office of the CIO for two different government agencies. He was also responsible for the strategy and oversight of the U.S. Government Solutions' Knowledge Service. Dr. Williamson also worked for E- systems and for NCR Corporation.

In addition to his executive role at Criterion, Williamson serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of the Commission of Professionals in Science and Technology and has served on the National Science Foundation's panel on integrative graduate education and research traineeship. He is a nationally recognized expert for the evaluation of the National Information Architecture for the Intelligent Transportation System.
