increased the market penetration of its RDX®
disk storage technology with the general availability of Imation Corp.
NYSE: IMN-branded RDX removable hard disk solutions that provide
small- and medium-sized businesses SMBs with a superior data
protection alternative to tape-based backup storage products.
Imation, a worldwide leader in removable data storage media, became a
licensee of RDX technology in October 2006. With this release, Imation
becomes the third major OEM to bring RDX hard disk drive technology to
market.
