WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 -- The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the principal trade association for the software and digital information industries, today announced its third annual Global Information Industry Summit, where industry executives will gather to discuss new information industry opportunities, challenges and cutting-edge solutions.

The Summit will address a variety of critical topics and issues, including the copyright challenges of user-generated content, the emerging content markets in India, China and Eastern Europe, developing digital brand identity, and how publishers are adapting their products as the Google Generation enters the workforce.
