Fuego Nation Announces Formation of Advisory Board
SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 20 -- Fuego Nation, Inc., a new social media experience based on engaging members via their passions, announced today that it has added four "passion ambassadors" to the Fuego Nation Advisory Board - Mario Bisio, luxury/prestige retailer, Brooks Ashmanskas, acclaimed theatre actor / singer / songwriter, Chris Melissinos, Chief Gaming Officer at Sun Microsystems and Robert McAuley, a 20-year veteran of Microsoft. This diverse group of professional luminaries will provide Fuego Nation with guidance and support on such critical issues as lifestyle brand advertising, membership recruiting, experiential product design, and game design theory while additionally illustrating Fuego Nation's primary mission: creating a common platform to bring people of divergent passions together on a global scale.

Mario Bisio, President of Mario's in Portland, Ore., and Seattle is one of the most respected independent apparel retail executives in the United States. Mario currently serves as president of The Forum Group a consortium of leading independent specialty retailers and was recently honored by MR Magazine, the men's fashion trade publication, with a Lifetime Achievement award. Mario will be working with Fuego Nation to integrate high-end consumer experiences into the product roadmap and increase the company's presence and stature in the lifestyle apparel sector.
Brooks Ashmanskas, a Broadway veteran, has starred in such productions as The Producers, Gypsy, and Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me for which he received a TONY Nomination. Most recently, Brooks appeared as Chris in The Ritz at Studio 54. Brooks will serve as the company's Broadway ambassador by evangelizing Fuego Nation among the acting and show business communities and by consulting on the creation and support of the acting passion sphere.
Chris Melissinos, Sun Microsystems' Chief Gaming Officer, is responsible for driving an industry-wide movement toward Java technology-based game development and building infrastructure programs for massively connected game play for Sun. His rich Java and social gaming experience will help drive a high quality game-like experience for Fuego Nation's online membership club model.
Robert McAuley, responsible for strategic business development in Microsoft's Consumer Digital Media Technology Division, brings solid expertise in negotiating and closing complex digital media licensing deals and global strategic partner development. A 20-year Microsoft veteran and Series A investor, McAuley will be advising the social media platform startup on strategic advertising partnerships.
