Secure Resolutions Economy Package for SMB VARs

PHOENIX, Oct. 27 -- SMB VARs whose primary business model has been reselling and installing hardware and/or break/fix services can increase revenue by adding managed security services to their offerings. With Secure Resolutions' Anti-CyberCrime, any VAR with an Internet connection and a customer can be in the managed security business without having to invest in additional hardware, software, or extensive training.

Fifty to 70 percent of SMB service calls -- whether on-site or at the workbench -- are being driven by malware infestation. A small business owner who has just paid $150 or more to clean up a system crippled by malware and who will probably have to do it again in a few months is a prime candidate to subscribe all his systems to his VAR's managed security service.

Some Secure Resolution VARs are charging $10 per system, per month simply to remotely manage the Anti-CyberCrime client on their customer's machines. Other VARs include it as part of a broader, more expensive package of services.

Automatic reports and alerts, coupled with powerful Web management functionality, allow just one technician to remotely manage and monitor the Anti-CyberCrime clients for hundreds of small businesses. Customized weekly or monthly reports can be automatically generated and e-mailed to clients, showing the status of the subscribed systems, malware threats eliminated, and other information that add up to the ROI of having the VAR monitor and manage their security. Not only does a managed security service generate recurring revenue for the SMB VAR, but it is also a source of new business as clients request additional help and services.

Secure Resolutions maintains its own Network Operations Center (NOC) from which the security of the systems the Anti-CyberCrime client is installed on is monitored, analyzed, and maintained. VARs can log in to their account at the NOC and manage all aspects of Anti-CyberCrime for their customers using policies and groups. VARs do not need expertise in IT security in order to provide enterprise-class security to their SMB clients and a recurring revenue stream for their business.

Comprehensive Protection

Anti-CyberCrime (Anti-Malware) protects against -- viruses, worms, Trojans, spyware, adware, dialers, hacking tools, key loggers, hoaxes, jokes, and system vulnerabilities.

Anti-CyberCrime (Backup & Data Recovery) provides Open File Support, Broad OS Protection, Robust File Version Control, Block-Level Incremental Backup, and Off-Site Secure Datacenter.

Remote Management and the Economy

With energy consumption expected to double in five years, how do you build and managed your IT to reduce cost? Using greener software which provides a complete range of energy efficient software to optimize your infrastructure, boost business process efficiency and implement truly responsible collaboration. A greener world starts with greener business. Greener business starts with Secure Resolutions. Technology innovation in a strong economy is nice. In a challenging economy such as the one that most businesses find themselves, innovation can spell the difference between success and failure. With remote managed services the legwork involved in managing your customer's security is eliminated by providing Managed Services which include remote deployment, remote reporting, automatic updates. In most cases, you will be able to accomplish all activities remotely, without ever having to leave your office.

As an example, using non-greener type of software and hardware applications requires more energy towards the power consumption crisis. Secure Resolutions Web-Management and Remote Managed Services does not require additional hardware or electricity. This is a direct Return on their Investment. People think if they had to purchase a dedicated server to run their non-green security applications that a $2,500 server is cheap and you don't need to worry about the power crisis. But over three years, the cost of electricity nearly equals the cost of the server. Using Secure Resolutions software instantly provides a short and long term ROI for your customers.

What about (me) the Managing VAR? As another example with the concept of using remote management tools you would not have to leave your office to provide Managed Security to your customers. Let's think about how many dollars you spend on gas for your automobile. The best way to burn less fuel is to 1) buy a car that gets better gas mileage or 2) reduce the amount of miles you are driving per your business needs. Coast to coast, the national gasoline average is 71.4 cents above the price this time last year and the energy consumption is expected to double within the next five years. How much money do you think you can save if you are not required to drive out to every customer's location providing the old break/Fix methodology within the IT industry?

Full Control over your customers Desktops and File Servers

With retail versions of security products, end users can configure, turn off, and even renew their subscription services on their own. Anti-CyberCrime prohibits this and returns control back over to you. You fully control the user experience and you can even turn it off for a customer who cancels or fails to pay.

VAR Channel Focus and the Economy Package

Douglas Cottle, CEO and President of Secure Resolutions said with the current state of the economy all registered VARs will be offered an economy package which will put cash back into the VARs own pocket. Normal volume license SKUs are sold exclusively through our registered VARs. Program benefits include an E-commerce storefront branded for you, priority support, virtual inventory keys, NFRs, product training, highly flexible monthly or annual licensing, and more.
