TriNET Systems Acquires Matrix Technologies

CANTON, Mass., July 7 -- TriNET Systems, Inc. today announced the purchase of Matrix Technologies, an Avaya Platinum Business Partner headquartered in Herndon, VA with additional offices in Baltimore, MD; Tampa, FL; and Pleasanton, CA. This acquisition builds upon TriNET's recent acquisition of New Jersey-based Prime Communications and further expands TriNET's national presence into the mid-Atlantic and West Coast.

Matrix Technologies has been a leading provider of secure voice, data & mobility solutions for over a decade. In addition to its status as an Avaya Platinum Partner, Matrix is a leading business partner with Juniper Networks, Extreme Networks, Microsoft and many other technology providers. The acquisition of Matrix brings deep expertise in the areas of IP Telephony, Unified Communications and Networking Security as well as a base of over 1,200 new customers. The combined organizations will provide customers of both organizations with greater depth in design, implementation and support services.

As part of the transition, Jarrod Sipe, CEO of Matrix Technologies, will become an Executive Vice President of TriNET and will also serve on the company's Board of Directors. Jarrod has been a leader in the telecommunications field since 1992. Jarrod will continue to manage operations in the Mid-Atlantic and will also be responsible for expanding TriNET's West Coast presence. "Matrix has operated successfully for over a decade so the transition for both organizations has been very smooth," said Mr. Sipe. "Customers of both organizations will benefit from the greater depth and breadth of the service and support team."
