joined the company as vice president of Engineering. Reporting directly
to CEO Ilja Laurs, Anand will lead development at GetJar as the company
continues to focus on global expansion and commercialization of its
award winning PPD solution.

Anand brings with him over fifteen years of engineering experience. His
background in large-scale ad-targeting technology makes him a natural
fit for GetJar, which has been strategically growing its platform to
meet the increasing demand for brand visibility on smartphones like
Android, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, and Symbian among others. Prior to
GetJar, Anand served as director of engineering at NetSeer, an internet
technology company, where he was solely responsible for developing and
implementing their advanced contextual ad-targeting technology. Before
NetSeer, he worked at LookSmart, an online search advertising network
solutions company, where he developed large scale ad platforms, social
networking systems, content management systems and web scale search
engines for text, video and audio. Anand holds a Master's degree in
Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, and is in the final stages
of his Doctorate Degree in Information Systems from the National
University of Singapore.
Over the past year, GetJar has doubled their employee count, tripled the
number of downloads per month and has remained profitable during a down
economy.
