PALO ALTO, Calif.----HP NYSE:HPQ today introduced several imaging and printing products –
including nine feature-rich digital cameras, two versatile
single-function Photosmart printers and an all-in-one Photosmart printer –
all designed to enable people to make the most of summer memories.
Highlights include:

a digital camera with the largest touchscreen LCD display of any
compact digital camera in the industry;

single-function printers that offer the fastest and easiest way to
print lab-quality photos at home;1 and
-
an all-in-one printer that can print customized labels directly onto
CDs and DVDs.

family vacations, backyard get-togethers and plenty of other occasions

Interact with summer photos using touchscreen technology
The HP
Photosmart R937 Digital Camera has a 3.6-inch Auto-bright
touchscreen display for editing and organizing photos directly on the
camera. Included within the touchscreen is a Microsoft Windows Vista™-compatible
tagging feature and a virtual keyboard, making photo organization and
management quick and easy once the camera is connected to a PC.
The 8-megapixel R937 also features the latest generation of HP Design
Gallery, which includes the popular slimming feature that can take up to
10 pounds off photographed subjects, HP pet-eye fix to correct glowing
pet eyes and HP touch-up technology for removal of blemishes.
The HP
Photosmart Mz67 Digital Camera, which produces 8-megapixel photos,
is HP’s first compact midrange zoom digital
camera. The Mz67 features a big 6x optical zoom and a bright 2.5-inch
display for easy viewing indoors or out.
Adding a splash of color to HP’s lineup, the HP
Photosmart R742 Digital Camera comes in a wide variety of colors,
including silver black and dark blue. Six other new HP digital cameras –
starting as low as $792 –
feature industry-leading in-camera red-eye removal,3
HP steady photo anti-shake mode,4 HP
Design Gallery,5 HP Photosmart software and
Vista compatibility, making it easy to edit, share and manage photos.
The thin and lightweight, 5-megapixel HP
Photosmart E337 Digital Camera is expected to be available for
purchase in July. The remaining eight digital cameras, including the HP
Photosmart R937 Digital Camera and HP Photosmart Mz67 Digital Camera,
are expected to be available for purchase in August.
Create lab-quality photos at home
The HP
Photosmart D7260 Printer and HP
Photosmart D7460 Printer provide the fastest and easiest way to
print photos at home – producing stunning
six-color photos in as fast as 10 seconds. When combined with HP Vivera
inks and HP Advanced Photo Paper, these printers offer reliable,
low-cost photo printing, plus superior-quality prints.
Both printers feature easy-to-use 3.5-inch touchscreens, an HP Red-Eye
Removal button for easy removal of red-eye from photos directly on the
printer, HP Smart Web Printing6 to ensure
that pages from websites print without cutoff edges, Ethernet networking
for added compatibility, and HP Auto Sense technology to prevent common
printing mistakes.7
In addition, the D7460 features built-in wireless8
connectivity and Ethernet, making it even easier to share and print
summer adventures using network-enabled notebooks and PCs.

Personalize CDs and DVDs with HP’s latest
all-in-one printer
Joining HP’s popular line of all-in-one
printers, the HP
Photosmart C5280 All-in-One Printer allows people to create designs
on a PC, then print directly onto CDs and DVDs9
for convenient archiving or unique photo and music gifts. The all-in-one
features include HP Smart Web Printing,6 an
automatic paper-type sensor for optimized print and copy quality and an
HP Red-Eye Removal button.
The C5280 features HP’s new high-capacity
inkjet cartridges10 to enable affordable
printing with fewer cartridge changes when printing everything that goes
along with summer travels, including itineraries, maps and flight
confirmations.
The HP Photosmart C5280 All-in-One Printer is expected to be available
this month for $149.2
